DAIRY, AGRICULTURE, & EQUIPMENT INCENTIVE
Update motors, fans, and other agricultural & commerical equipment to qualify.
1.
Install energy saving equipment and/or incorporate energy efficient measures. New & existing facilities are eligible.2.
Equipment eligible for incentive must be purchased and/or installed in the current year. Incentive is not to exceed the cost of equipment.3.
Submit an incentive application and documentation according to instructions on application.4.
If incentive is under $25, you will receive a credit on your next ECEC monthly billing statement. If over $25, you’ll receive a check in the mail.FARM REWIRING
Offset the costs of upgrading to safer farm wiring with one of our two programs.
FOUR-WIRE SYSTEM REBATE
The purpose of contributing to the cost of wiring or rewiring to a four-wire system is to promote the proper system for the safe distribution of electric energy in the livestock environment.
Receive a reimbursement from ECEC of up to $500.00 for completion of installation of a four-wire electrical system on a dairy or livestock facility.
- Contact ECEC prior to project for pre-approval
- Dairy or livestock farm
- New or existing wiring
- Wiring provided by qualified electrician
- Allowance for voltage drop considerations
- Test and verify there is no continuity between the neutral and ground of any load or branch circuits
- Electrician must complete and sign the Stray Voltage Farm Wiring Summary Checklist
- Provide copy of bill or receipt when completed
SAFETY FIRST! LOAN & GRANT PROGRAM
LOANS & GRANTS
- Loan/grant combination available up to $30,000
- Grants available for 20% or up to $6,000 from the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association
- Loans available for 80% or up to $24,000
- Take up to 5 years to repay the loan
- 3% interest applies to loan

- Service agreement for length of loan
- Credit eligibility requirements
