WHAT IS IT?
Evergreen is a voluntary program in which part of your energy is sourced from wind and waste-to-energy renewable resources. For as little as $1.00 a month, you can help support the generation of renewable energy and a cleaner environment. Your participation supports ECEC in its efforts to go above and beyond any state requirements.

HOW IT WORKS
- In addition to your normal monthly electric bill, you volunteer to pay a small, additional charge each month
- This additional charge helps offset the additional cost it takes to support renewable energy generation
- You choose an Evergreen level
- You purchase each block’s amount of energy from a renewable source
- There are no other requirements, there is nothing to hook up, and you will continue to receive the same reliable electric service

One block of 100kWh represents about 10% of the average residential monthly electric usage (1,000 kWh).
